In response to Serpentine's recent comment, I've been temporarily relocated to new digs:
My station is the one against the wall with the monitor still on. During the day, there's a mass of gross humanity sitting around the room, making it hard for me to hear the person on the other end of my phone. At 7 p.m., there aren't so many distractions, because the weak have gone home to pick flowers and play games -- ONLY THE HARD REMAIN.

Nice. Much better. That looks like a place where a diligent public health expert can protect us all. I seriously hope you guys call it the Sit Room. Or CentCom.

I'm assuming you keep one flatscreen on CNN and the other on ESPNews. Also, do they use the projector to continuously watch Outbreak to provide a template for quarantine?
We call it The Bunker (no one calls it that).
We watch a loop of Dustin Hoffman's "Outbreak" on all the flatscreens. We have two overhead projection screens, too. Inexplicably, they repeatedly show "My Best Friend's Wedding".
